    The food was fresh and very good. The wait staff was very attentive. We were a party of 4 so we tried several of the dishes and shared. They were all so good.

    Vegan ramen was really good and the service was great. We were really cold and hungry so the host was able to accommodate us pretty quickly. They even took our order order before we sat - I'd definitely recommend this place.

    OMG!!! Small hole in the wall and somewhat cluttered but it was the BEST sushi I have ever eaten! They are very inventive and use more Japanese tactics than any other sushi place I have ever been to. Keep in mind they do charge 25 cents for take out boxes and 10 cents for plastic bags, which is different.

    This is the best ramen I have ever eaten. Ever. Served in a super chic setting by the most warm and friendly staff ever, it was a delicious stop on a cold, and rainy day. Perfection!

    I always like it here! Not the same as. In any Izakaya in Japan but one of the best in San Mateo!
